The library can be accessed by teachers, researchers, students and technical-administrative staff from the entire University and medical, nursing and technical-administrative staff from the Policlinico Umberto I Company.
Loan and consultation on site
The request for books for loan must be made by the user upon presentation of an identification document (identity card, driving license or passport). Institutional users are entitled to a maximum loan of 3 volumes for 30 days. The loan can be extended upon expiry for a further 15 days only in the absence of requests from other users. The following are excluded from the loan: ancient, rare and valuable material, periodicals, general reference works, encyclopedias, dictionaries, documents on magnetic media as well as all documentary material identified by the Director of the Library. All Sapienza users, through their credentials, can take advantage of online services such as book booking, loan requests, saving bibliographies and many others.
