This section of the website describes structure of the governance of the Dept. of Physiology and Pharmacology. 

The Department is headed by a Director, who represents it for all legal matters and ensures its autonomy and cultural unit. 

To pursue its mission, the Department has full administrative and organizational autonomy upon all expenses, contracts and conventions with private subjects and public institutions. All actions are subjects to current laws. The Department is not entitled to take measures of general relevance, or pertaining to other subjects, as prescribed by the Statute of Sapienza.

Governance of the Department is assigned to: Department Council, Director, Counseling Board. An Administrative Secretary assists the Director in the management of the Department. The Administrative Secretary heads the Administrative Office and coordinates the administrative and accounting affairs of the Department, for which he/she shares legal responsibility with the Director.
