Hossein Cheraghi Bidsorkhi received a bachelor’s degree in polymer engineering from Azad University, Isfahan, Iran, in 2009, and an M.S. degree in polymer technology from the University Technology Malaysia, Johor, Malaysia, in 2013. Later, he gained a Ph.D. degree in electrical, material and nanotechnology engineering from the Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy, in 2018. He is currently an assistant professor of advanced material within DIAEE at the Sapienza University of Rome. He has pioneered research in developing advanced polymer nanocomposites for several applications, including smart textile, sensing, electrical, electromagnetic, energy harvesting, biomedical, drug delivery, and healthcare. Furthermore, He has been the Principal Investigator of several research projects.

His research deals with a wide range of design, development and characterization of polymer composites for diverse applications. Over the last decades, as a result of exceptional capabilities of polymer composites, they have played significant roles in diverse industrial areas from aerospace to power generation. Therefore, the development of polymer composites for addressing the need for any given area requires a diverse range of skills such as production processes, analysis, characterization, and material selection in particular. These skills in polymer science offer particular flexibility, allowing one to exploit the most suitable and fitted material in various fields
