Corcione Massimo

Massimo Corcione, ingegnere meccanico e dottore di ricerca in Proprietà Termofisiche dei Materiali, è Professore Ordinario di Fisica Tecnica Industriale. È il responsabile scientifico del Laboratorio di Termodinamica e Trasmissione del Calore del dipartimento DIAEE e co-coordinatore del gruppo di ricerca MILCHAM (ex MOSCAB) che svolge attività di rivelazione di neutroni veloci presso INFN-LNGS (Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso) per mezzo di un dispositivo a liquido surriscaldato. È il coordinatore della Commissione di Ricerca Scientifica del DIAEE e membro del Consiglio dell’Associazione della FisicaTecnica Italiana. Ha ricoperto numerosi incarichi istituzionali, tra cui quello di coordinatore del Dottorato di Ricerca in Energia e Ambiente. È membro del Comitato Editoriale delle riviste internazionali Applied Sciences, Energy Science and Technology e Progress in Computational Fluid Dynamics. La sua attuale attività di ricerca riguarda essenzialmente la convezione naturale e forzata in fluidi puri, miscele e nanofluidi, l'ottimizzazione energetica degli impianti di climatizzazione e la termodinamica dei liquidi metastabili.
