Clarus 500
Il gas cromatografo utilizzato è un Perkin Elmer Clarus 500 con autocampionatore e detector FID (Flame Ionization Detector). Le analisi sono eseguite utilizzando colonne capillari nelle quali la fase stazionaria viene depositata sotto forma di un film sottilissimo (0,1-5 micron) sulle parete interne di un capillare lungo da 15 a 100 m. Il gas di trasporto, Elio, viene convogliato in un ugello e si miscela con aria e idrogeno, che alimentano una fiamma che produce una corrente ionica che viene trasformata in tensione, amplificata ed elaborata. Quando un analita raggiunge la fiamma, esso viene bruciato e ionizzato facendo variare l’intensità della corrente e permettendo la rivelazione del segnale che viene successivamente elaborato mediante il softwareTotal Chrom. La concentrazione dei campioni viene stabilita sulla base del metodo dello standard interno, per mezzo di componenti standard appositamente e utilizzando opportune curve di calibrazione restituiscono i valori di concentrazione dei vari analiti.
The gas chromatograph used is the Perkin Elmer Clarus 500 with autosampler and flame ionization detector FID (Flame Ionisation Detector).The analysis are performed using capillary columns where the stationary phase is deposited in the form of a thin film (0.1-5 microns) on the inner wall of a long capillary of 15 to 100 m. The carrier gas, helium, is conveyed into a nozzle and mixed with air and hydrogen, which feed a flame that produces an ionic current which is converted into voltage, amplified and processed. When an analyte reaches the flame, it is burned and ionized by varying the intensity of the current and allowing the detection of the signal which is subsequently processed by the software Total Chrom. The concentration of the samples is established on the basis of the internal standard method, by means of standard components and specially using appropriate calibration curves return the values of concentration of various analytes.
