The library was established in 2010 gathering the book collections of the former DiAr, ArCos and Cavea Departments and is located in the two branches of via Flaminia 359 and p.za Borghese 9.
The library collection amounts to approximately 70.516 volumes and 267 journals, including 36 ongoing subscriptions. The library has access to UrbaDoc and Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals, two important online databases of architecture, urban planning, design and related fields. In the Flaminia branch it is possible to consult the cartography of Rome’s territory.
The library is updated in several areas of architectural design, interior design, landscape, sustainability and industrial design. The Flaminia branch collects the latest issues of the journals, has a high quality section dedicated to architects’ monographs and a sector focusing on Islam, China and Japan.
The open shelves allow a rapid consultation of the volumes and all material can be found on the online catalogue on opac.uniroma1.it
