Professor Fernanda Irrera joined the Faculty of Engineering of the University La Sapienza in 1989. Since then, she is in charge of the classes of Solid State Electronics, Integrated Circuits Technology, Innovative Electronic Components and Integrated Components of the Master Degree in Electronics and Nanotechnology. She is an expert of CMOS technology, in the Moore and in the More Than Moore mainstreams. Since 2011 she is the Coordinator of the Italy Section of the IEEE-Electron Device Society.
