The Department of Economics and Law at Sapienza University of Rome is seeking excellent candidates to fill the academic positions of
- Associate Professor(*) (with tenure) in Economics
- Associate Professor(*) (with tenure) in Econometrics
- Assistant Professor(**) (with 3/6-year tenure-track) in Economics
- Assistant Professor(**) (with 3/6-year tenure-track) in Economic Policy
Our Department promotes high-quality research, seminars, and conference activities. The Italian Ministry of University and Research has recently listed the Department as one of the best departments in the country. The economic research team of the Department has a record of publications in highly ranked scientific journals (e.g., among others, Quarterly Journal of Economics; American Economic Review; Review of Financial Studies; Journal of Monetary Economics; Journal of Econometrics; Journal of Financial Economics; Journal of European Economic Association; Economic Journal; Journal of International Economics; Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking; International Journal of Central Banking; Journal of Public Economics; Journal of Development Economics; Experimental Economics; Games and Economic Behavior; Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control.)
Potential applicants should provide evidence of a continued and sustained ability or potential to publish in recognized scientific journals. In addition, they must display an ability to work within national and international networks of scholars within their respective research clusters.
