This section of the site illustrates the governance structure of the Department of Internal Medicine and Medical Specialties. The department is led by the Director, who represents the structure for all legal purposes and guarantees its autonomy and cultural unity.
For the purpose of pursuing its institutional tasks, the Department has organizational and administrative autonomy with regard to all expenditure, contractual and conventional measures that directly concern it, with both public and private subjects, in compliance with the legislative framework in force, however excluding the possibility of administrative measures of a general nature or relating to matters reserved to other bodies identified for this purpose by the Statute of Sapienza.
The bodies of the Department are: the Director, the Chief Administrative Officer (RAD), the Giunta, the Department Council.
