Fulco Lanchester is full professor of Italian and Comparative Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Political Sciences. He has been Prorector for the confederate universities of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Director of the Department of State Theory (1993-1999; 2011), Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences (1999-2008) and Director of the Department of Political Sciences (2012-2015).
He coordinates the PhD Programme in Public, Comparative and International Law.
He is the Director of the Master’s Degree Programme “Mario Galizia” Parliamentary Institutions for Assembly Advisors
Fulco Lanchester is a member of the scientific committee of the following law reviews: “Quaderni costituzionali”, “Rassegna parlamentare”, “Revista de derecho constitucional europeo”, “Federalismi.it”; Managing Editor of the review “Nomos. Le attualità nel diritto”.
He has been elected, since December 1, 2010, among the Presidents of the “Lega per il collegio uninominale”.
Since January 2014 he is the President of the “Paolo Galizia – Storia e Libertà” Foundation.
Constitutional History and President of the didactics area of Political Sciences and International Relations.
From 1989 to 1990 he presided the Law course at the Faculty of Law of the University of Catanzaro. From 1993 to 1999, he was the Director of the Department of State Theory of the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and from 1999 to 2008 he was the Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences and prorector for the confederate universities of the University of Rome “La Sapienza” from 2009 to 2010. 
Fulco Lanchester is a member of the scientific committee of the following reviews: “Quaderni costituzionali”, “Rassegna parlamentare”, “Revista de derecho constitucional europeo”, and he is the editor of the review “Nomos. Le attualità nel diritto". Since December 2010 heis one of the presidents of the "Lega per il collegio uninominale"(http://www.uninominale.it/).
