Was born in Venice on 1 November 1956, graduated in Statistics and Demographic Sciences in 1981; during 1983 she collaborated with the Bank of Italy's Re-search Department, dealing with "Population forecasts and public expenditure for pension purposes".
Since 1984 she has been a researcher (SECS-S / 01) at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the "La Sapienza" University of Rome and since 2000 has been an aggregate professor.
Recent teaching activity:
Since 2000 she has been teaching Statistics (9 CFU) in the course of Studies in Political Sciences and International Relations.
From 2009 to 2011 she held the statistical-demographic part of the course of Economic Differentials and Migratory Movements (5CFU) of the MD in Economic Analysis of Interna-tional Institutions.
Since 2012 this part of the course has been transformed into a module (3 CFU) within the International Trade and Globalization teaching course in the same course of study.
