Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Nanomedicine for Drug Delivery

Nanomedicine is the application of Nanotechnology (materials with sizes in the nanometre range, i.e. 10-9 m) to promote innovation in Healthcare. Nanomedicine is a revolutionary interdisciplinary science, which combines knowledge from Pharmacy, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Medicine to treat conditions and diseases of the human body at a molecular level. Nanomedicine has many applications, from drug therapy and diagnostics to individual cell repair, to artificial tissues and radiation therapy. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMDs) are highly integrated study programmes that are delivered by an international Consortium of Higher Education Institutions. They aim at fostering excellence, innovation, and internationalisation in Higher Education Institutions. The EMJMDs are supported by the EACEA (Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency) of the European Commission and are part of the Erasmus + programme.

You can participate to an EMJMD as a scholarship student or as a self-funded student. To learn more about the application procedure please click here.

Scholarship application session: November 15th - January 15th
Self-funded application session: March 15th - April 15th

The NANOMED Consortium gathers 4 European Universities and more specifically, their Faculties of Pharmacy:

  • Paris Descartes University – France
  • University of Patras – Greece
  • University of Pavia – Italy
  • University of Angers – France
