Luisa de Vita

Luisa De Vita is Research fellow in Economic Sociology, at the Department of Social Science and Economics of Sapienza University of Rome. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and Public Policy and a degree in Psychology of Labour and Organization from Sapienza University of Rome. She joined several research projects (e.g., about equal opportunity policies, diversity management, female entrepreneurship, and new independent professions) at national and international level. She directs the research unity of Sapienza University of the interdepartmental centre for female entrepreneurship (OSIF), is member of SISEC (Italian Association of Economic Sociology) and of the Gender section of AIS (Italian Associations of Sociology). Her research focuses on gender policies, welfare and labour market, female entrepreneurship and gender careers in Stem professions.
