Erasmus

Erasmus+ is a European Union Programme aimed at promoting cooperation and exchange activities between European universities.
Erasmus exchanges are guaranteed through participation in a call for applications which is published on the website of the Erasmus+ Office of Sapienza University of Rome and on the Faculty website (Bando Erasmus A.A. 2019-2020).
Students participating in these exchanges have the opportunity to attend courses at a foreign university without additional registration costs, to obtain recognition of the exams taken, and/or to carry out internships or studies for their degree thesis. Selected students are entitled to a financial contribution for their stay abroad that varies according to the type and duration of the mobility and the chosen destination country.

Outgoing students

The Erasmus programme allows students to:

  • take courses and exams related to their academic curriculum at a foreign university, which are chosen from among those proposed by the call for applications;
  • carry out studies for their degree thesis.
  • Erasmus encourages the mobility of PhD students.
