Erasmus+ is a European Union programme aimed at promoting cooperation and exchange activities between European universities.
Erasmus exchanges are guaranteed through participation in a call for applications which is published on the website of the international programmes sector of Sapienza University of Rome and on the Faculty website.
Students participating in these exchanges have the opportunity to attend courses at a foreign university without additional registration costs, to obtain recognition of the exams taken, and/or to carry out internships or studies for their degree thesis. Selected students are entitled to a financial contribution for their stay abroad that varies according to the type and duration of the mobility and the chosen destination country.
The Erasmus programme allows students to:
- take courses and exams related to their academic curriculum at a foreign university, which are chosen from among those proposed by the call for applications;
- carry out studies for their degree thesis.
- Erasmus encourages the mobility of PhD students.
With the Erasmus programme, students of foreign universities have the opportunity to study and take courses and exams related to their academic curriculum at Sapienza University of Rome.
