Venere Stefania Sanna PhD, is a researcher in economic and political geography, currently working for the MEMOTEF department of Sapienza University of Rome. Dr Sanna also works as Senior Expert in sustainability and the circular economy for the Ministry for Ecological Transition in Italy (under the auspices of Sogesid S.p.a.). She currently focuses on the research project “The short-term city: digital platforms and spatial (in)justice”. She is a member of the Management Committee of the EC funded COST Action “From Sharing to Caring” (CA16121), Co-Leader of the WG3 Impacts of the Collaborative Economy, and member of the “Short Stories” task force of the project. Dr Sanna has been involved in many national and international projects, and her research interests include regional economic development, European policies, sustainability issues, social movements, the sharing and collaborative economy, and research methodologies in economic geography. Her research method is based on a strongly interdisciplinary approach that incorporates policy and practice impacts, and her eclectic publication record reflects her diversity in fields of knowledge and study.
