The educational offer is established from year to year in accordance with the educational system. This page shows the current offer (A.A. 2023-2024).
- Types of activities and methods of delivery
-
The School has the following types of activities:
- Basic training activities: 15 CFU;
- Characterizing activities: 190 CFU, of which 30 within the common trunk and 160 within the specific disciplines of the type of school;
- Related and integrative activities: 15 CFU;
- Final test: 15 CFU;
- Other activities: 5 CFU.
The legal system also provides for the following constraints:
- Professional activities: 168 CFU;
- Practical and internship activities: 144 of the CFU referred to in point 1;Training in psychotherapy: 60 CFU;
- Individual study: no more than 1500 hours.
One CFU corresponds to 25 hours of work for the student. There will be 8 classroom hours for each CFU of frontal teaching and 12 classroom hours for each CFU of professional activities. The individual study is then quantified in 17 hours for each CFU of frontal teaching and in 13 hours for each CFU of professional activities. For internships, 25 hours per CFU are calculated.
The following table shows the breakdown of the CFU among the various types of activities in compliance with the above constraints. In each cell of the table are indicated the total CFUs assigned, and in brackets how many of them are part of the training in psychotherapy.

- Organization of the didactic activity
-
The activities listed in the above table are divided by year of course in such a way that, for each year of course, 32 internship credits are provided, 8 of which are dedicated to psychotherapy. This load corresponds to 16 hours per week divided into 4 days per week (4 hours per day) for 45 weeks per year. A quarter of the time (roughly one day a week) is devoted to psychotherapy.
To the activities of internship are added, like other practical professionalizing activities, the activities of training and supervision in groups, which consist of meetings bi-weekly dedicated, alternate weeks, training and supervision in the field of neuropsychology and psychotherapy. For the supervision of neuropsychological evaluation and rehabilitation activities, there will be 18 annual meetings of 2 hours each starting from the second year, equivalent to 3 credits per year. For training in psychotherapy (first two years) and for the supervision of psychotherapies (last two years) there will be 18 annual meetings of 4 hours each, equivalent to 6 credits per year.
The lectures are divided into weekly cycles of lessons. Each cycle of lessons lasts 8 hours, generally divided into 2-4 meetings of 2-4 hours, and corresponds to 1 CFU.
