Interests
I am Assistant Professor at Dept. of Experimental Medicine, Sapienza University of Rome, where I run a “Nucleic Acids and Epigenetics” lab. My research interests rely on epigenetics, both at basic (methylation metabolism, methylation dynamics, non-CpG methylation) and translational level (nutrition, neurodegeneration). I’m in the Board of Directors of the Epigenetics Society. I’ve published more than 60 research papers on International peer-review Journals and 5 book chapters on epigenetics, nutrition and neurodegeneration. I teach Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry and Epigenetics at pre- and post-graduation courses.
