The Department of Oral and Maxillo Facial Sciences was established by the Rector's Decree in 2004 on the initiative of the faculty of the contextually disabled Institute of Dental Clinic.
The Department houses the Dental and the Dental Hygiene Schools. Graduate programs leading to MS in Science of Nursing Assistential Techniques, Master's Level, and Training and Higher Education courses and Ph.D. in Dental Diseases and School of Specialization in Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Surgery and Orthodontics degrees also are available.
The Department of Oral and Maxillo Facial Sciences is located in an attractive modern building that offers well-organized space and the latest equipment for teaching and research. One complete wing of the College is devoted to the teaching center of Via Caserta, with various lecture halls, including one dedicated to simulation teaching hall, the Oral and Maxillo Facial Sciences library, a reading room as well as research and didactical facilities.
