Guided Tours

 

The Botanical Garden Museum organizes generic guided tours or specific tours for all-level schools, groups and associations (at least 10 people).

LASTING TIME: 90 minutes 

AGE: 6+

RESERVATION: : Every paid guided tour needs to be booked by filling in the form or by sending an e-mail to: info-ortobotanico@uniroma1.it. It is required to specify the typology of the tour, the school or group name, the day in which you desire to have the visit, the number and typology of participants (adults or students), the number of accompanying people, the supervisor’s  name and the possible presence of people with disabilities. The reservation is free and it will be successful on the receipt of a confirmation by email.

Tour of the Herb Garden with insights on the officinal plants

Tour focused on the species at risk of extinction, listed in the IUCN Red List and in the CITES Appendices

  • DYEING PLANTS 

Tour focused on the plant species that are used for the preparation of natural dyes

  • LIVING FOSSILS

Tour focused on the living fossils of the Garden

  • PLANTS IN MYTH 

Tour focused on the plant species found in myths and in religious and folk traditions

  • PLANTS AND MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

Tour on the plant species used for the construction of musical instruments

  • SYSTEMATICS TOUR 

Tour focused on the vegetal diversity, from bryophyte to pteridophytes, gymnosperm and angiosperm
