The Section of Human Anatomy consists of 5 different Research Units: Clinical Anatomy, Immunohistochemistry, Electron Microscopy and Experimental Morphology.

The Section of Human Anatomy also includes a Library, a main teaching room (Room Realdo Colombo “A”) and several didactic Laboratories (Rooms C, SP, SS, M, L). The Section of Human Anatomy is in a 1930 building, located near the Sapienza University (University city) and the University Hospital Umberto I, in a central area of the city between the Railway Station "Termini" and Piazza Bologna.

The building has 2 entrances: the main entrance is at n. 289 of Viale Regina Elena. It is open on special occasions only. The rear (garden) entrance is located at n. 50 of Via Alfonso Borelli.

Classrooms, Divisions and Laboratories may be reached through the rear garden entrance.
