Institutional users are students, students on international mobility (such as Erasmus), professors, researchers, PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, scholarship granters, technical-administrative staff and all those who have a study or work relationship (even temporary but institutional) with Sapienza University, Policlinico Umberto I, Azienda Ospedaliera Sant'Andrea, Polo di Latina and Sapienza Foundation. All institutional users are entitled to use the services, bibliographic and electronic resources. Users having an institutional mailbox (email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org) can also access electronic resources from home.
Students (except Erasmus students), PhD candicades and postgraduates can log in using their institutional e-mail credentials (enrollment number and password). All other users can log in using the username and password issued by the library they registered for the first time. All information is available on the Infologin page.
The access through the institutional mail credentials (matricula and password) is available to students, PhD students and postgraduates in regular position with the payment of fees.
The password is valid for 12 months, after which it is necessary to reset it from the Infostud interface, following these steps:
- Log in to Infostud with SPID/CIE *.
- Go to the section Settings -> Access data -> enter your old and new passwords -> Click on "Update password".
Once the password has been reset, it can be used immediately to access your Library Account in the Sapienza Libraries Catalogue.
After ten unsuccessful attempts, your credentials will be completely blocked. In this case you must contact your Student affaires offices.
ATTENTION: Blocking your credentials does not prevent you from accessing Infostud (if you use SPID/CIE *). In order to check if your account has been actually blocked, please download the Infostud Sapienza app on your smartphone/tablet and try to log in with your username and password. If this login also fails, please contact your Student affaires offices.
* Those who do not hold Italian citizenship and do not have SPID/CIE, can access Infostud with their enrollment number and password (to reset after the first login, if necessary).
- Log in to Infostud
- Go to the section Settings -> Access data -> type your old and new passwords -> Click on "Update password".
Unitelma students can use the services of Sapienza libraries as external users. They can instead use their institutional credentials to access electronic resources.
