Learning objectives
The course has the dual objective of orientation for newcomers of control theory, but also to provide some advanced insight on the theory, both from a conceptual and a practical point of view, for students already trained in control theory. This is accomplished by a series of lessons presenting the concepts of control theory, analysis and specification, the formulation of control problems , the presentation of the methods in a linear and nonlinear context, continuous and discrete time. The class offers a whole contents of the training for students with no expertise in control theory.  To complement the theoretical activities, those students that have already taken exams in the field of the automatic control in the previous university education will be involved in the development of an educational project relevant to the problems of controlling the space segment.
