How to reach us
The School of Aerospace Engineering is located at Via Salaria 851 next to the Urbe airport. Directions on how to reach it are as follows.
By car
Coming from the city center, take Via Salaria outbound; reverse driving direction using overpass located at the exit for Fidene (Fidene exit is about 3 km’s after intersection with Tangenziale Est and about 1 km after traffic light for Urbe airport); go ahead on Via Salaria in the opposite direction for about 1 km. The entrance is located about 300 m’s after a huge round tank visible from the road, and right after a street sign which announces a traffic light 130 m ahead.
Coming from Grande Raccordo Anulare (Rome’s highway ring), take Salaria exit inbound. The entrance is located about 1 km after the exit for Fidene – Villa Spada, about 300 m’s after a huge round tank visible from the road, and right after a street sign which announces a traffic light 130 m ahead.
By public transportation
The School's entrance is located about 100 m’s north of Aeroporto Urbe bus stop which is served by ATAC lines 135 and 235.
In order to find out how to reach it, you can use the tool calculate route by ATAC. However, some directions are as follows.
From Termini train station take metro B1 (direction Jonio) and get off at Libia stop; then, go to Libia bus stop, take ATAC bus line 235 (direction Labia), and get off at Aeroporto Urbe stop; alternatively, from Libia stop of metro B1, go to Somalia/Mascagni bus stop, take ATAC bus line 135 (direction Salaria/Piombino) or 235 (direction Labia), and get off at Aeroporto Urbe stop.
From International airport of Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci) take FL1 regional train and get off at Roma Nomentana stop; thus, go to Adis Abeba bus stop, take ATAC bus line 135 (direction Salaria/Piombino) and get off at Aeroporto Urbe stop; alternatively, from Roma Nomentana stop of FL1 regional train, go to Somalia/Mascagni bus stop, take ATAC bus line 135 (direction Salaria/Piombino) or 235 (direction Labia), and get off at Aeroporto Urbe stop.
Aeroporto Urbe bus stop is at Via Salaria 825; in order to reach the School's entrance at Via Salaria 851, walk along the sidewalk in Via Salaria for about 100 m's
