The Department of EUROPEAN, AMERICAN AND INTERCULTURAL STUDIES of Sapienza University of Rome represented by its Director prof. Camilla Miglio and THE  SHAKESPEARE INSTITUTE – STRATFORD-UPON-AVON, UNIVERSITY OF BIRMINGHAM (UK),  represented by its Director prof. Michael Dobson, considering the development of cultural and scientific cooperation to be of mutual advantage to both universities, and desiring to reinforce such cooperation, have signed an agreement of scientific and educational cooperation  in the field(s) of Shakespearean Studies. Such cooperation shall be carried out and  implemented in the following ways:
a)        exchange of visits by Department and staff members, graduate and Phd students;
b)        participation in research programmes (i.e. Memoria di  Shakespeare. A Journal of Shakespearean Studies; Sapienza Permanent Seminar of Shakespearean Studies; Shakespeare Institute Thursdays Seminar; etc)
c)        organization of scientific meetings, seminars and teaching activities on subject(s) laid down in the Agreement;
d)        exchange of scientific information and scientific papers.
The respective scientific scholars responsible for the project are prof. Donatella Montini for the  Department of European, American and Intercultural Studies,  Sapienza University of Rome and prof. Michael Dobson for  The Shakespeare Institute –Stratford-Upon-Avon, University of Birmingham (UK).
