Progetti di ricerca:

This research delves into the metaphorical role of objects in Shakespeare's "Hamlet" and their contribution to Hamlet's subjectivity. By examining how Hamlet uses objects, words, and tools, we aim to uncover answers to profound questions about his character and the play's themes. Cognitive semantics provides the framework for understanding how Hamlet infuses objects with meaning beyond their materiality. The study seeks to bridge the gap between theory and tangible elements in "Hamlet," emphasizing the significance of objects in the play. Ultimately, it sheds light on the play's exploration of subjectivity and objects, challenging the human mind through symbolism and double meanings.
