Sapienza University of Rome has the honor to present a Doctorate honoris causa in Innovative Biomedical Technologies in Clinical Medicine to Professor Joseph Loscalzo for his fundamental contribution to our understanding of the biochemistry and pathophysiology of nitric oxid. In addition, Professor Loscalzonhas also established the field of network medicine, which builds on holistic approaches to human pathobiology.
