Educational Programme

The Educational programme is updated every year, with the integration of new subjects and educational programs updated to the latest findings of research and international forensic practice.

Other "basic" information:

  • The cost of the master is 2,600 euros payable in two installments, plus a small fee for the application for admission of about 51 euros and the fee for the discussion of the thesis (about 70 euros).
  • A final thesis discussion is usually held about a month after the end of the lessons. The exact date will be indicated during the master during the year there will be intermediate tests to which a grade in thirties will be assigned and which will form the final average with which students will submit to the discussion of master thesis and will be the starting point for the assignment of the final grade (thus adding the vote obtained for the drafting and discussion of the thesis). The tests consist of 2 multiple choice tests and the preparation and presentation of a scientific poster
  • The presence in the classroom is detected with signatures at the entrance and exit every day of frequency and are not allowed more than 25% of hours of absence (equal to 75 total hours of absence). The presence will also be verified for students who will follow the lessons in the online mode
  • During the year there are also exercises and activities of different types, for example: crime scene simulations (in particular post-blast with improvised device), Intelligence exercise with reference to the analysis of "hostile human networks"; a mock trial (where students can practice in the roles of trial parties with the support of lawyers, prosecutors, consultants and judges); visits to Courts and penal institutions (e.g. Rebibbia) and analysis of real forensic cases
  • The degree awarded at the end of the course is a "master’s degree in criminology and strategic sciences

Whether for any reason the student is not able to complete the course in the academic year of enrollment, he can do so in the following year.
