About us

The Laboratory for Nanotechnologies and Nanosciences of Sapienza (SNN-Lab) is the core facility, part of the research infrastructures of Sapienza, aimed to:

integrate the multidisciplinary expertise available in Sapienza on nanotechnologies and nanoscience in order to create synergies among research groups working in the different areas of science, engineering and medicine
make an infrastructure for research of excellence in Sapienza for the design, fabrication and characterization of nanostructures and advanced micro/nanodevices for different applications;
provide high quality equipment and research services in the fields of micro/nanofabrication, advanced characterization (microscopic, functional, structural) of physicalchemical properties of micro/nanostructured materials, engineering of designed micro/nanostructured devices/complex systems;

create a hi-tech reference structure for the local territory and companies of Lazio, able to satisfy the needs of research and technological development as indicated by Regione Lazio.
