In the reserach project we will analyze the properties of spin glass thin films. Optimized numerical simulations will be crucial in leading the project towards success. A strong theoretical knowledge, including a very good know how about the physics of disordered systems, will be needed. The features of the critical phenomena present in these systems will be analyzed. The relevant correlation lengths will be determined. This numerical and theoretical analysis will be developped with strong connections with experimental groups  that analyze movies of this kind. An open approach to these tehoretical issues, that will allow to connect and develop the different approaches we have described will be crucial.
