ADMISSION TESTS

Academic Year 2024/25

To be admitted to any of the bachelors degree programmes of the Faculty of Information Engineering, Informatics, and Statistics it is necessary to take the online TOLC test provided by CISIA (“Consorzio Interuniversitario Sistemi Integrati per l’Accesso” https://www.cisiaonline.it).

For the English-language degree programme in Applied Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence it is also possible to take the SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) General Test, managed by the College Board (https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/) and which may be taken at any SAT Center in the world.

Different types of online TOLC test are available according to which degree programme one wishes to enrol in: TOLC-I, English TOLC-I, TOLC-S and TOLC-E.

The TOLC-I is the admission test for the Faculty’s degree programmes listed below:

  • Informatics (restricted-access, 320 places available)
  • Computer Science and System Engineering (restricted-access, 350 places available)
  • Management Engineering (restricted-access, 350 places available)
  • Applied Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (restricted-access, 180 places available)
  • Informatics in e-learning
  • Electronics Engineering (restricted-access, 150 places available)
  • Communication Engineering
  • Information Engineering (Latina campus)

The English TOLC-I is the admission test for the Faculty’s degree programmes listed below:

  • Applied Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (restricted-access, 180 places available)
  • Informatics (restricted-access, 320 places available)
  • Computer Science and System engineering (restricted-access, 350 places available)
  • Management Engineering (restricted-access, 350 places available)
  • Electronics Engineering (restricted-access, 150 places available)

 The TOLC-S is the admission test for the Faculty’s degree programmes listed below:

  • Applied Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (restricted-access, 180 places available)

The TOLC- E is the admission test for the degree programmes listed below:

  • Statistics for Management
  • Statistics, Economics and Society
  • Statistics, Economics, Finance and Insurance

It is possible to take the TOLC@HOME (“TOLC@CASA”) test from home for access to all the bachelors degree programmes of the Faculty (restricted-access programmes and non-restricted access programmes).

The TOLC@HOME test is identical in all its parts to the corresponding TOLC held in university classrooms (TOLC-I, English TOLC-I, TOLC-S, TOLC-E).

SELECTION PROCESS

For restricted-access degree programmes, besides having to take the TOLC-I / ENGLISH TOLC-I / TOLC-S, SAT, it is also necessary to register for the selection process.

For non-restricted access degree programmes, you only need to take the TOLC-I or the TOLC-E without registering for the selection process.

The calendar is constantly being updated.

It is possible to register for the TOLC at any University, including a different university from the one the student intends to enrol in.
