Interests

My research activity is mainly focused on the investigation of the factors that underlie the development of psychiatric pathologies, with a specific and strong interest in the identification of neurobiological alterations caused by exposure to traumatic events in childhood/adolescence and associated with the increased susceptibility to the development of these diseases. My research activity is carried out both in clinical settings, thanks also to the support of the analysis of bio-markers of pathology in the blood, and in preclinical contexts. In general, this investigation aims to understand the triggering factors/at the basis of the different psychopathologies in order to identify new psychological therapeutic pathways and the best temporal mode of administration of the same.
