Dear Colleagues of Sapienza Neuroscience,
I kindly invite you and your coworkers and colleagues to discuss with us how to exploit EEG biomarkers in dementia at the following free webinar organized by Alzheimer's Association (ISTAART) Electrophysiology Professional Interest Area (EPIA), scheduled on January 11, 2022, at 05:30-06:30 pm Italian-German-French CET:
EPIA Year in Review
Dr Francesca Farina
Senior Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health
Global Brain Health Institute | Trinity College Dublin
https://www.gbhi.org/profiles/francesca-farina
will present a talk with research highlights and progress in the field seen in 2021.
The talk will be followed by a panel discussion of priorities and predictions for 2022. The panellists will be Dr Claudio Babiloni (Sapienza University of Rome, Italy), Dr Bahar Güntekin (Medipol University of Istanbul, Turkey), Dr Agustin Ibanez (Global Brain Health Institute, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland) and Dr Görsev Yener (Izmir University of Economics, Izmir, Turkey).
Some issues of interest will be the following:
· Are there qualified electrophysiological biomarkers for clinical research and applications? What relation to the ATN diagnostic framework?
· What electrophysiology research lines will show the most advancement in the coming years?
· What barriers to open science in this field?
· Why should a young researcher choose EEG techniques for dementia research?
The webinar is freely open to all by registration at
