Environmental and Sustainable Building Engineering

The Bachelor Degree in Sustainable Building Engineering (L23 Class) has been established in Rieti in 2018-2019 academic year. The educational offer of Rieti is implemented in this academic year, 2020-2021, by launching also the Master in Sustainable Building Engineering (LM24 Class).

Aim of the whole educational path is to provide the students with the knowledge and skills required to guarantee the accomplishment of the goals of sustainable development in the field of civil constructions, considering both existing and future structures and interventions.

Particularly, the students will acquire the whole skills proper of the Italian civil engineering and architecture, which have become famous worldwide, with main focus on the protection and remediation of the natural and constructed environments in the perspective of the goals for a sustainable development recently established by the Agenda 2030. Since these goals are of worldwide interest, it is expected that the Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Sustainable Building Engineering will attract students from many countries beside Italy.
