Role and tasks
Its goals are technological innovation and internationalization. Technological innovation involves a computer lab and the use of the clinical simulation service. Internationalization of the Department focuses on the Erasmus+ program that offers new opportunities to promote international relations not only in the European space and in the Mediterranean area. The 25 international networks in which the Department teachers participate represent a strong point to ensure the mobility of students of degree courses, PhD students and interns. The postgraduate training carried out through the activities of the Masters is another strength for the department.
Didactic Committee provides:
- monitor indicators and parameters of periodic evaluation of training activities;
- monitor didactic loads of teachers;
- monitor updating of teaching methodologies and the dematerialisation of examination tests;
- monitor sustainability of the training offer;
- monitor AVA requirements. The quality group will monitor the implementation, of the above detailed requirements, every six months. The survey is followed by the processing and analysis of the collected data with the preparation of a detailed report and identification of possible incentives and corrective actions.
The didactic Committee will check that all the teachers of the Department include in the website "students area" the teaching material, possibly also interactive, used in their respective courses of study, in doctoral courses and in Specialization Schools. In collaboration with the heads of the Courses of Study, the Department will try to implement a program of "accompaniment to the profession", for students who carry out their dissertation with a teacher of the Department.
For recent graduates guided learning days are planned on topics of professional relevance or by making them participate in seminars with doctoral students and interns. In addition, the participation of students in international mobility programmes will also be encouraged with a view to future employment in the European context. Another goal is to increase postgraduate training actions through the strengthening of the activities of the Masters managed by the Department.
