Orto Botanico

Created in 1800, it represents the first warm greenhouse of the Corsini garden.

It hosts a succulent plant collection:

the families mostly represented are the Cactaceae, the Agavaceae, the Euphorbiaceae and the Crassulaceae. Of merit is the collection of caudiciform plants, that contains the genera Adenium, Pachypodium and Testudinaria.

At the entrance are two marble bathtubs (one for cold and one for hot water) that  belonged to Christina of Sweden during the period in which she rented the Riario Villa (from 1659 to 1689).
