Science & Reality - Stage

"One thing I have learned in a long life: that all our science, measured against reality, is primitive and childlike--and yet it is the most precious thing we have"
- Albert Einstein

Science & Reality is a stage for undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. students in philosophy, mathematics, physics and economics. It examines the scientific modelling of physical and social world and it is designed in a way resembling the medioeval disputationes.

Each year the stage treats a issue by means of public debates between teams of studends that defend a specific approach to the issue. Normally there are 3 or 4 teams of 7-10 students that are guided by a tutor.  The stage ends up with a workshop where the teams can confront themselves with experts and leading figures in the field.
