Scopri i segreti del passato attraverso questa ciotola stile Serra d’Alto. È stata trovata nella Grotta di Ostuni presso Brindisi ed è in ceramica. Questo stupendo oggetto si data al periodo tardo Neolitico, tra il V e VI millennio a.C. Presenta un corpo tondeggiante, con un collo dritto e un orlo sottile, che lo rendono sia funzionale che decorativo. La ciotola è decorata con linee ondulate sul corpo e con un motivo marrone sul collo. La sua esposizione nelle vetrine del museo riporta in vita questo pezzo, permettendo uno sguardo al periodo Neolitico ed alle capacità culturali e tecnologiche dei nostri antenati.

Unearth the secrets of the past with our exhibit featuring the Serra d'Alto-style cup. This exquisite artifact, crafted from fired clay, was discovered in the Sant’Angelo’s cave at Ostuni near Brindisi. The vase dates to the late Neolithic period, between the 5th and 6th millennium BC. It has a round shape with a straight neck and a thin rim, blending functionality and aesthetics. The addition of a zoomorphic head on the handle adds a unique touch. The cup is decorated with wavy lines on the body and a brown color design on the neck. The exhibit brings this piece to life, offering a glimpse into the Neolithic period and the cultural and technological achievements of our early ancestors.
