CIVIS summer school held in Sapienza Università di Roma

The course, entirely in English, is coordinated by Ornella Tarola and intended for Ph.D. and Master's students interested in deepening their knowledge of the future of the EU. After the COVID crisis, Europe must face some new unavoidable challenges: it has to shape a future dealing with the war between Russia and Ukraine and its consequences on oil prices. In the aftermath of the pandemic crisis, the supply-chain bottlenecks, coupled with the unprecedented fiscal and monetary expansions, had already implied strains on the price level in most advanced economies. Today, these are further exacerbated by the effects of the war on energy and commodity prices, and climate change having the characteristics of a ‘global problem’.
