Where we are
The majority of the activities of the Faculty are carried out on the territory of the Lazio region and more specifically at the headquarters of the "Sapienza" (Città Universitaria, University Campus), where the healthcare centre of the Polyclinic Umberto I Hospital is also located for medical activities and at the decentralized headquarters of the Pontino Pole (the university's largest external teaching centre) where there is a Department with specific territorial vocation that is part of the Faculty (Department of Surgical Sciences and Biotechnologies). There are also other territorial locations also outside the Region of Lazio. (see figure).
The single cycle degree courses in Pharmacy and in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology are in fact available in the Lazio Region exclusively at Sapienza, while the University of Tor Vergata offers a one-cycle masters degree course in Pharmacy held in the English language. The degree courses of our Faculty have an important impact at territorial level, Lazio being full of production centres in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological sectors.
