Spin Off and Start Up
Spinoffs and Startups ventures are the instrument to fulfil new and innovative business built on a research background developed in the academic field.
Sapienza guarantees and promotes enterprises development whose purpose, from a business perspective, is to encourage the usage of patents, inventions, know-hows and findings as a result of scientific research.
In order to support and enhance the Spin Off and Start Up initiatives, the University has a sector dedicated to strategic partnerships, Spin Off and Start Up initiatives, which focuses in particular on:
- accompaniment to the presentation of new proposals;
- support for the Spin Off and Start Up Commission;
- the preliminary examination of the proposals to be submitted to the Corporate Bodies;
- monitoring and compliance with transparency requirements;
- the collection and processing of data for the evaluation of third mission activities.
