DESCRIPTION
The didactic organization of the Master "Scientific Techniques of Investigation in the Food Sector" is entrusted to Professor Alessandra Gentili, in collaboration with a Scientific Didactic Council composed of professors and researchers from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" from different disciplines (Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Biology, Management and others) and representatives of institutions and associations working in the food sector (ICQRF - Central Inspectorate for the Protection of Quality and the Suppression of Fraud in Agri-Food Products, Masaf).
The Master is organized to provide advanced knowledge on food chemistry and on the most innovative instrumental investigation techniques to ensure authenticity, traceability, as well as the detection of adulterations, alterations and counterfeits, also touching on regulatory, administrative, jurisprudential aspects and the economic implications inherent to them. The Master’s course is 60 CFU and lasts one year.
