How, where, when. Deadlines and procedures to enrol in the programme ( link for AY 2023/24 will be available soon)

PROCEDURES VALID ONLY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

In order to enrol in the Master of Science in Nanotechnology Engineering, international students (EU/non EU) must complete a pre-selection application.

A pre-selection application is an online application allowing international students to be assessed well before the official Call for Applications is published. This application is particularly important for those applying for a study visa to enter Italy. Most programmes will ask pre-selection applicants to provide:

• Passport
• High School and University Diploma
• Transcript of Records
• Language Certificate
• Reference Letters
• Additional supporting documents

Here are the main steps international students have to follow to apply in the Master of science in Nanotechnology Engineering:

1. Complete the pre-selection application available at the following link -> https://sapienza.gomovein.com/information/index/618e2c2b71cc863622480502/eng
2. Create an account on Infostud, Sapienza's student services portal here -> https://www.studenti.uniroma1.it/phoenixreg/#/
3. Follow the instructions contained in your programme's "Call for Admissions" available at  (Soon available)
4. Apply for a study visa on WWW.UNIVERSITALY.IT (mandatory for NON-EU STUDENTS). For all non-EU students residing abroad , see this page, requiring a Study Visa for enrolment and for entry in Italy. Pre-enrolment applications on Universitaly must be finalized and submitted by the candidates within 30 June 2023. Pre-acceptance letter has to be uploaded by the candidates on Universitaly with the whole set of documents described here

5. Book your assessment of requirements procedure by paying the related 10-euros fee on Infostud, not later than 14 September 2023, and by uploading in Infostud the test code as indicated on the course call for application
6. Send to studentistranieri@uniroma1.it the mandatory set of documents for enrolment
7. Wait for the outcome of your documents’ check by the office for Students with International Qualifications
8. Finalize your enrolment procedure by paying your tuition fees

    

IMPORTANT: Please note that final admissions are dependent on the successful outcome of all of the above steps, some of which are not controlled or managed by Sapienza University of Rome. Do make sure to follow all the regulations applying to your specific status (e.g. visa applicant, permanent resident, international degree holder, etc.). Please also note that pre-selection does not means enrolment.

Deadline for online pre-selection applications:

During the procedure you will need to upload the following:

• Copy of a valid passport (page with photo)
• Certificate proving the student´s proficiency of the English language, e.g., TOEFL/IELTS (this does not apply to native English speakers)
• Official transcript of academic records
• Letter(s) of recommendation
• Passport photograph
• Curriculum vitae
• Letter of motivation

Please note that the International Student Registration Office of Sapienza will require a hard copy of all these documents in order to complete your enrollment upon arrival in Rome.

After completing the online application,you must Check with the local Italian Embassy/Consulate or Italian Institute of Culture the deadline to apply for a student visa (typically, by the end of May) and whether other documents, besides those listed above, are necessary. If you have been admitted, you should have already received by then an admission letter from Sapienza.
