PAGES at conference Text and Textuality, Durham, UK

Events

Members of the PAGES project will deliver two talks at the Text and Textuality online conference organized by the Durham University, UK, on July 15-16, 2021:

  • Paolo Monella, Elena Spangenberg Yanes, The new edition of Priscian’s Ars grammatica: history of the tradition and innovative digital models
  • Ilaria Morresi, Producing the critical edition of a Late-antique miscellany: the ΦΔ recensions of Cassiodorus’ Institutiones

The first talk will be specifically focussed on the PAGES proect: E. Spangenberg Yanes will present the first outcomes of the comprehensive recensio of the textual tradition of the Ars made by the PAGES project, while P. Monella will sketch out the model upon which the digital edition of Priscian's work will be based, by means of the Cadmus framework, developed by Daniele Fusi.

In the second talk, I. Morresi will present the forthcoming edition of the ΦΔ recensions of Cassiodorus' Institutiones that she is editing.
