Titolo : A journey into my scientific research topics: Cosmic Reionization, Galaxy Formation and galaxy hosts of gravitational wave signals.

Abstract: This talk summarizes the scientific activity I developed in recent years by exploring the synergies of three different scientific topics: the process of Cosmic Reionization, the theory of high redshift galaxy formation and their implications on recent detections of gravitational wave signals.

I will first introduce the process of Cosmic Reionization of hydrogen and helium and how this is simulated by radiative transfer codes I developed in recent years. In particular implications on the assumed homogeneity and isotropy of the resulting UB background will be discussed with emphasis on the sources of ionizing photons. Their synergies, in terms of radiative and chemical feedback, will be further illustrated by comparing with recent predictions of my galaxy formation codes: dustyGadget and GAMESH. The implications of cosmic dust and metals in high redshift galaxies will be further illustrated in light of recent observations by the James Webb Telescope. Finally, the high- and low redshift will be connected by interpreting low metallicity dwarf galaxies as relics of the reionization process, and as possible hosts of gravitational wave signals emitted by high-mass black hole binaries at all cosmic epochs.
