Launch of the 2017-2018 Student Opinion Survey for the second semester courses

Starting from the first survey carried out for the first semester of the academic year 2017/18, the telematic procedures for surveying student opinions were carried out through the new "Smart_eduGOMP" survey system, further optimized at the next evaluation for the second semester courses 2017-2018.

In order to facilitate the completion of the questionnaires on the new IT platform, the Quality Team again provides all the teachers with a brief handbook to be shown to the students in the classroom when they are collected.

According to the new AVA 2.0 Guidelines, each teacher will pass a 2/3 lesson in the semester or a different teaching period foreseen by the teaching schedule, and must provide a classroom time of at least 15 minutes to complete the course. use of mobile devices, assessments by students.

The teachers will be able to monitor the number of questionnaires filled in using the GOMP detection system. The teacher will thus be able to consider whether the number of evaluations carried out reflects the typical number of attendance at lessons. The teacher before the end of the course, if he deems it appropriate, can then foresee further sessions to measure the opinions in the classroom.

As a further possibility of completion, for students who have not previously completed the assessment, the system, as usual, will require the compilation of the assessments at the time of enrollment for the exam. Please note that the survey covers all the courses that will end with an exam or a suitability test. Access to the completion of the second semester course questionnaires will remain open until 28 February 2019.

Each student will only have to evaluate the courses provided for in his / her Study Plan, for which he / she has not yet taken the exam, regardless of the year of enrollment.

Evaluation of the quality of university teaching

The OPIS questionnaires compiled by the students are the subject of an article in which the data contained in them are processed in order to identify the courses in need of greater attention, based on the reporting of students and students. The article presents a quantitative and effective method, which is proposed to the entire university community.
