Chemical Engineering Materials Environment | Rubber Brick
Rubber Brick, designed by Marco Valente and Matteo Sambucci and developed in our laboratories, is obtained from the combination of cement and used tire pellets. The aim of the project is to combine eco-sustainability with technological efficiency. The morphology of the brick, perforated with fractal cavities, is able to improve the mechanical capacity, structural efficiency and acoustic performance of the brick compared to traditional technologies
