ALGALTILE

Bio-synergies

Indoor tiles made of bamboo covered with Kelp laminar brown algae from the Pacific Ocean. This species of algae is the fastest to grow (up to 60 cm per day), is able to take nutrients from the water, collects solar energy through photosynthesis and varies the conformation of its blades according to the weather conditions and the seasons, a fact taken into consideration by designers to create tiles that are different from each other. Kep seaweed was also chosen for its performance properties: it gives high resistance, is difficult to scratch or damage and naturally absorbs moisture from neighboring environments.
