ARCBIOX

Ecoactive
Compostable fiber-reinforced polymer family for injection molding. Specifically, PLA is reinforced with degradable glass fibers which in contact with specific organisms that make the material compostable. ArcBio™ is therefore biodegradable only in controlled environments, mainly through industrial composting to ensure that in normal environments the material still maintains its properties and it is durable. By choosing the type of polymer, the degradation time and environment can be controlled; while, depending on the glass fiber and the bond with the polymer, temperature and mechanical resistances are checked.
