HYPUCEM

Eloquence

Hypucem is the acronym for HYbrid PolyUrethane CEMent and represents a new class of materials based on the synergistic interaction between an organic polymer and organic cement phases developed by the hydration of Portland cement commonly used in construction applications. The material combines the properties of concrete (mechanical, dimensional stability and breathability) with those of a polyurethane foam (thermal and acoustic insulation and lightness) creating a single material solution. By varying the concentration of the components, consequently porosity and color, the material can also be used in sectors other than construction.
