Description: The ADVICE project is a joint initiative between institutes of higher education of four countries: Italy, Greece, The United Kingdom, and Poland which acts as a coordinator. Its aim is to offer support to teachers in higher education in terms of digital competencies, giving them a chance to learn by using an open platform that integrates an evaluation tool for their competences and a database composed of tools and free online resources. The project also aims to compose guidelines to support the commitment that institutional stakeholders give in order to make online learning more inclusive.

Description: Forced digitalisation of higher education has brought along many challenges. Description: COMMIGRATION is a two-year European project funded by the European committee within the programme Erasmus+ Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices. The project is based on strategic partnering aimed towards education and professional formation. Its goal is to develop an effective communication strategy forthe relationship between migrants and public administration employees  and European services. This can be implemented by developing and delivering training courses for those who work in the field of immigration. During the first phase of the project CoRiS will  coordinate research that will analyse the needs and the contexts of the different countries involved in the partnership This phase  will be followed by moments of in-person and remote training. Finally, results will be shared and disseminated.

Description: The project focuses on two main issues within higher education and society. The need for a) training and infrastructure to provide mixed learning, namely remote and/or blended (in person teaching live-streamed to students online) and b)teaching young people the implications of using social network sites (Facebook, YouTube, etc.) in a psychological, sociological, economic and ideological sense. The body of the project is composed by 30 teachers and teacher-trainers from seven universities, mostly part of the European network CIVIS, one academic association and one company. Throughout the project we aim to train these teachers and reach 100 additional teachers through local training events. Moreover, PENSA will involve 400 students throughout Europe in the development of their digital and multi-lingual competences, as well as collaboration abilities and independence.

Description: The project aims to create a centralised database for information regarding media ownership in 15 member states of the European Union. Partner countries represent larger and smaller states, eastern and western countries, and include countries with known transparency issues for media ownership. Four groups of indicators (structural, economic, performance, technical) will feed into the centralised database, which will be scalable and accessible online. The theoretic approach will be based on structural ownership and on principal-agent theory.

Description: Project FEELING aims to support capacity building processes for professional public and private service operators that work with foreign minors, in particular it looks at how to handle direct or indirect discrimination and/or intersectional violence towards sexual orientation, gender identity and migratory background. There will be training modules aimed towards empowering the operators that will be involved, making it so they develop advanced methodological-operative competences in order to guarantee a pragmatic and coherent approach to the issues of foreign LGBTQI+ minors. Considering that this is an innovative project, the system of training, monitoring and research will lead to the establishment of a permanent national Observatory on themes related to research and services aimed towards foreign LGBTQI+ minors, with the objective of recognising vulnerability factors among them, de-structure stereotypes and prejudices, encourage the removal of discriminatory behaviour.

Description: TIPPING+ focuses on the concept of Social-Ecological Tipping Points (SETPs).  Through a deep scientific understanding of socio-economic, psychological, cultural, gender and political processes, the project investigates how SETPs can be used to sustain energy transition in Coal and Carbon Intensive Regions (CCIRS). Based on over 20 regional case studies, TIPPING+ will carry out an innovative analysis of positive and negative tipping points, with the aim to prevent unwanted results during the decarbonisation process (for example the rise of populism and anti-democratic behaviour). The project will focus on evaluating visions and collective narratives, as well as the necessary transformative capabilities that are needed to generate strategies, points of intervention, solutions and socio-technical innovations useful for the systemic transformations in CCIRS aimed towards futures with clean energy and low emissions of carbon.
